Halifax Council of the Blind has been a chapter of the Florida Council of the Blind since the early 1960's. It is located in Daytona Beach, which is known for the International Speedway, driving on the beach, over 5 area colleges and institutions of higher learning, numerous hopping entertainment and cultural opportunities, a good public transportation and paratransit service, the Blind Services campus and several blindness-related agencies.

HCB and its over 40 members, have a reputation of being involved in advocacy, education and social/recreational activities.

We meet on the Zoom platform and at Houligan’s Sports Bar and Grill at 1725 International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Florida on the third Saturday from two until four.
