Executive Committee Meeting Minutes 
January 21, 2026

The meeting was called to order by President Mikey Wiseman at 06:57 PM. 
Present were President Mikey Wiseman; 1st Vice President, Cassandra Jessie; 2nd Vice President, Shelley Sawyer; Recording Secretary, Elizabeth Bowden; Membership Secretary, Sally Benjamin; Treasurer, Mark Lear; and Immediate Past President, Sheila Young.  Administrative Assistant Kati Lear joined the meeting as a guest. 

Cassandra Jessie motioned that the minutes from January 6 be accepted.  The motion was seconded by Sheila Young and passed.  

Mikey asked the budget and finance committee to add a line item for $2,000.00 for the 990-N post card submission.  

After we took our vote regarding the DC trip.  Sheila Young motioned that FCB sponsor four people for the DC trip at $1,000.00 each.  The motion was seconded by Sally Benjamin and passed unopposed.  Criteria for applicants: letters from the person wanting to travel, a letter from their chapter president, participation in zoom visits, and write articles for the WCB.  Sheila Young motioned that anyone interested in applying for the trip should write a letter stating their qualifications to go.  Letter from chapter president, participate in zoom meetings, write an article for the WCB, and participate in the convention legislative session.  A friendly Amendment was made by Cassandra Jessie that members should participate actively in their chapters.  Deadline for trip applications is February 1, 2025.  

Sheila Young motioned and Cassandra Jessie seconded that We name the blood drive at convention the Jeanine Leah blood drive.  The motion passed without opposition.  

Courtney Roberts has a deadline of February 1 to provide services rendered either during convention 2025 or ordered during the convention.  

Motion was made to adjourn the meeting by Cassandra Jessie and seconded by Sheila Young.  The motion passed unanimously.  
Meeting end time was 07:40 PM.
