Miami-Metro Council of the Blind

The spirit of the Metro Chapter 28!
(M) Motivation, (E) Enthusiasm, (T) Triumphant, (R) Reeducation, (O) Optimistic and 28 hills to go!

The Miami-Metro Chapter 28 meets on the second Friday of each month at the Miami Lighthouse for the Blind from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM. They generally have an informative guest speaker and share a meal. This is an active and close-knit chapter which is made up of 64 members who range in age from 24 to 91. They plan a social gathering during holiday seasons and have at least 2 fundraising activities annually. They advocate for equal access and better transportation. In addition to all this, their chorus is something to behold and hear!

The Miami Lighthouse for the Blind is located on the corner of Southwest 8th Avenue and Southwest 7th Street. Their address is 601 SW 8th Ave.
