The Florida Council of the Blind (FCB) is a statewide organization of blind people working to make life better through public education,
legislative actions, and providing a statewide information and referral service through Project Insight. If you have questions please call
1-800-267-4448.
The Tallahassee Council of the Blind, number 44, was adopted in to FCB in 1972. Since then it has grown from a small chapter to one of average membership. Diversity in membership helps us to explore many different issues and challenges along the way towards advancement of blind persons. Two of FCB's Immediate Past Presidents, Carl McCoy and Robert Miller, are from the Tallahassee area.
Meetings are held the second Thursday of every month in the Division of Blind Services offices at 1320 Executive Center Dr., Atkins Bldg. in
the Koger Office Center. If you want to eat Pizza with us come at 6:00 PM. The business meeting begins at 7:00 PM.
